Republican Campaign Thoughts

Cain is done. I like Herman, but he has handled this issue poorly, and that means he might handle something in the White House poorly. Sad.

I believe his support is mostly in the "anybody but Mitt" group, so to whom does it fall? I think the majority goes to Newt, less to Perry, and the remainder to Romney. But Newt stands the most to gain. That is good for policy, but if Cain has had issues in his personal/private past, Newt is of a whole other order of magnitude.

All this, unfortunately for conservatives, means that it is a churn which ultimately favors Romney.

Ugh.
